The 12(B) Sqn Disbandment Weekend is fast approaching and the numbers of attendees are starting to increase.
For those that wish to attend there is a small amount of transport available for collection of guests from Aberdeen or Inverness Airports, if you require transport please let us know as early as possible so we can plan accordingly. Please be aware, it is unlikely that all requests for transport will be able to be met. Confirmation of transport availability will be published one week prior to the event.
A number of rooms have also been booked in the various Messes at RAF Lossiemouth (for which there will be a small charge). Please confirm if you require on-base accommodation. The limited number of rooms that are available will be allocated on first come, first serve basis. However, there are a number of hotels and B+B’s in the local area that can be booked directly should there be insufficient on-base accommodation available.
The outline programme for the event can be found below:
Friday 14 February 2014
1400 - Honours and Awards Presentation
1700- 12(B) Sqn Memorabilia Auction
Saturday 15 February 2014
1300 - Tornado GR4 tour/Sea King Tour
1915 - 12(B) Sqn Disbandment Dinner and standing up of the 12(B) Sqn Association
Sunday 16 February 2014
1100 -12(B) Sqn Disbandment Church Service
1200 -12(B) Sqn 99th Birthday celebrations
Unfortunately, we have limited spaces available and therefore it is important that we have responses as to whether you would like to attend (partners are also very welcome) with any transport, accommodation and dietary requirements that you may have.
Many thanks to those that have already replied, may I ask however that you also forward Flt Lt Steve Westley (respond to this e-mail address) any transport, accommodation or dietary requirements that you may have.
I look forward to meeting you all in February.
